Before Starting

Remove the old tub spout by loosening the set screw  underneath (if present), or by rotating the spout counter-clockwise to unscrew it.

Threaded Nipple Installation

Install 1/2" Threaded Nipple

Install a 1/2" threaded nipple that extends 3-7/8” from the finished wall surface.
