Saeco Aroma machines feature a powerful pump rated at 15 bars (217.6 psi) of pressure. Authentic Italian espresso requires this steady pressure to produce premium extraction. Each time the Aroma machine is used, the result is a true Italian espresso every time.

The unmatched technology of Saeco’s portafilter ensures a great extraction of espresso by automatically pressurizing the brewing chamber, creating the ideal brewing environment. This is accomplished through a small spring-loaded valve located below the filter basket. The valve remains closed until enough pressure builds to open the valve and release the espresso. The high pressure extracts the full flavor and aroma from the coffee, taking all of the guesswork out of brewing an espresso.

All Saeco manual machines come with a special filter basket and pod adapter which allows the portafilter to accept single serve, pre-packaged Easy Serving Espresso (E.S.E.) pods for quick and easy brewing. This adds more versatility to the machine. Espresso can be brewed with either E.S.E. pods or with pre-ground coffee to brew the traditional way.

The Pannarello frothing device creates rich, frothy foam for cappuccinos, lattes and more. By dispensing steam in three different directions, the Pannarello makes it easy for even a beginner barista to froth milk.

The steam wand will also produce hot water for Americanos, hot chocolate or tea. Not only can Saeco Aroma machines make espresso drinks, but they can be used for any other premium hot beverages as well.

The redesigned control panel gives clear signals when the machine is "ready to brew" and "ready to steam". This user friendly interface features push buttons and indicator lights, as well as, a dial to control the steam/hot function.

Stack several porcelain or ceramic cups on the convenient heating surface on top of the machines. The cup warming surface keeps cups and espresso at an optimal temperature, while enhancing the full flavors and aromas extracted from the bean.

The Saeco Aroma boasts an 85 oz. removable water tank. Many delicious drinks can be prepared before the tank needs to be refilled. The side water winder makes it easy to check and maintain the water level.

A single drawer lifts off of the front of the machine containing the cup tray and drip pan. Made of metal and ABS plastic respectively, they clean easily in soap and water making maintenance of the machine quick and easy. The drip tray fits comfortably in place, always there to prevent spills.
