Piper is the youngest trainee - a small, modern steam engine. She comes to Chuggington straight from the factory, very cute and innocent, knowing absolutely nothing. She is like a little toddler finding her way in the world and is still wobbly on her wheels. Her vocabulary is limited and fairly monosyllabic - with words like "no" and "mine."
