You can't outgrow a Keekaroo! The Keekaroo High Chair is ideal for children 6 months to 250 lbs. When used as a High Chair, the wooden tray provides an eating surface for your child. As your child grows, the seat plate and foot plate can be independently adjusted in height and depth to meet the needs of your child. Remove the tray and the chair can be pulled up to the kitchen table, computer table or desk. Keekaroo is the one and only chair your child will need and want.

JPMA certified

The Keekaroo High Chair with its included tray with cover, passive crotch restraint and 3-point safety belt is JPMA certified to the highest ASTM standards. Safety for your child is Keekaroo's goal.

Dishwasher Safe

The Tray and Tray Cover provide an eating surface during mealtime. The Wooden Tray can be wiped cleaned with mild soap and warm water. The BPA-Free Plastic Tray Cover is dishwasher safe.

The design of the Keekaroo High Chair has safety in mind. A sturdy, solid base resists tipping. And the ergonomic design of the seat and seat back allows for a comfortable seating experience.

Infant Insert Features

The Infant Insert can be added to the Keekaroo High Chair. Several vibrant colors are available. Each Infant Insert is made from BPA-Free and Latex-Free materials. Infant Inserts are peel and tear resistant and impermeable to liquids. They are proudly Made in the USA.

3 Point Belt

A 3-point safety belt is standard on all Keekaroo Chairs. This belt is used to keep your child safely secured to the seat during use.

The Keekaroo High Chair can withstand the messiest eaters. Cleaning is easy! Just wipe the chair, wooden tray and cushions with mild soap and warm water. And the tray cover is dishwasher safe!

Weight Capacity

Removing the seat plate and using the foot plate in its place allows longer life of the Keekaroo Kids Chair. When used in this configuration, the chair can withstand 250 lbs.

Easy to Adjust

Adjustment is simple! Easy to use allen wrenches are included with your Keekaroo Chair. The seat plate and foot plate can be adjusted in 1" increments. They can also be adjusted in depth to create the perfect fit for your child now and as he grows.

What kind of wood is your high chair made of?
The Height Right Wooden High Chair is made from a renewable natural resource; Rubber wood. Rubber wood is typically burned at the end of its harvest, but by using this wood, we are able to help protect the environment by using one of its wondrous resources.

What is the finish on the Height Right High Chair?
Plant based lacquer finish.

 

What are your cushions made from?
Polyurethane polymer. This polymer is chemically inert, meaning it does not react with other chemicals and can be buried in landfills without consequences to the environment. No petroleum solvents are used to manufacture Keekaroo cushions and a non-metal based organic pigment is used for coloring.

Is assembly required?
Yes it is. We provide the tools & the instructions.

 

What tools do I need to adjust the chair?
Just an allen wrench. And it comes with the chair. Just one simple tool is needed. And we provide it for you! It's that easy.

What is the optimal seat and foot plate height for my child’s size?
Where YOUR child is comfortable! In most cases parents set the Height Right Chair up to lift a child to a “normal” table height… thus the name Height Right. A good rule of thumb is to have the backrest touch the child’s back at or above the shoulder blades. The seat plate will be adjusted to accomplish this, and should also be set depth wise to leave around 1 inch of space between the end of the seat plate and the back of the child’s knees. The seat is also placed at an optimal height when the child’s elbows are level with the top of the table. The foot plate should then be set so that the child is sitting comfortably on the seat plate and is still supported under his/her feet by the foot plate. The foot plate is placed at an optimal height when the child’s feet can rest flat on its surface with little or no under-thigh pressure at the leading edge. Favor having the foot plate in a position where they can comfortably reach since this should have a calming effect on children, as well as a positive impact on Parent’s ability to digest a decent meal. You’ll know when they are properly positioned by how comfortable they look while in the Height Right High Chair.

 

What is the warranty period?
Five Years. We stand by our design so you don’t have to worry!

How do I clean the chair?
With gentle soap and warm water. The Height Right™ Chair can be safely wiped clean with mild disinfectants/detergents. As with all wood furniture that is lacquered, be sure to dry the surface once it is cleaned. Too much water left on the surface may change the finish. Therefore, if water is left on the surface for approximately half hour or more, water (or spilled liquid foods) may penetrate through the lacquer finish over time causing the wood grain to swell and become rough to the touch.
