Once the freeze bowl has been charged in the freezer for at least 15 hours, the Ice Cream Maker attachment produces up to 2-Quarts of soft-consistency ice cream and other frozen deserts. Soft ice cream can be frozen in an airtight container in the freezer within 2-4 hours.

Once completely frozen (15-18 hours) in an ordinary household freezer the liquid within the double walls of the freeze bowl provide thorough, even freezing of frozen dessert and ice cream custards.

The Drive Assembly attaches to the mixer to engage with and drive the Dasher. The Dasher rotates inside the freeze bowl to spread, scrape, and mix ice cream custard.
