Velvet Aged Bronze base color is a warm bronze color darker than brushed nickel and lighter than Tuscan Bronze. The base color is best judged by looking at the crown of the spout.
What sets the Velvet Aged Bronze finish apart is the distinctive Gradient Relieving that delivers the warm base color in some areas with a gradual transition to the darker color in others.
This is achieved by removing the black nickel from the convex shapes while leaving it in the concave shapes. This is evident on the spout base ring and the hubs of the handles.
With elegant brush stokes designers pull warm tones out from under the darker nickel finish delivering a perfectly shaded fixutre that accentuates style cues and has a stunning response to light.
