PERMA-WHITE outperforms other premium mildew resistant interior paints in independent laboratory tests (ASTM D5590). These paint samples were placed in an agar plate that was inoculated with several species of mold that have been identified as problematic in indoors environments. After 4 weeks, the "mildew-resistant" paint samples showed significant mold growth on the paint film. The PERMA-WHITE samples showed no contamination.
