The WORX chain saws let you stop worrying about chain tension letting you enjoy your work.  The auto-tension, exclusive to WORX saws, automatically sets the proper tension of the chain so you don't have to bother with it or even know how to.  A chain can stretch and become loose in as few as five cuts. Not only is it dangerous to have a loose chain but a loose chain also wears out parts much quicker. WORX auto-tension technology takes the guesswork out of how much to tighten the chain.

Spend your time cutting rather than running back to the truck or house to get tools.  Unlike most chainsaws, the WORX chainsaw requires no tools to both attach the chain and set the tension. The simple tool-less process of turning the oversized knob is all that is needed to service and maintain the bar and chain. Loosen, tighten or set the tension with one knob to turn by hand, that’s it. After that the auto-tensioning takes care of the rest for you. 

To ensure extended bar and chain life the WORX chainsaw has Automatic oil lubrication with a 6.75 oz reservoir. The bar and chain oil reservoir is conveniently located below its filler cap and its transparent oil level window makes it easy to check how full it is.

The built in Chain Stop improves the saw safety by stopping the high speed chain in kickback situations and durring normal use.  Prevent the chain from accidentialy spining by turning on the chain stop when the saw is being stored inbetween uses or being transported between work locations. The shape of the WORX chain stop lever makes it easy to use no mater postion the saw is in, upright or on its side.
