Rust-Oleum Dry Erase Paint is a smooth, hard finish that creates a unique white writeable-erasable surface. Safe to use Indoors!
Ideal for use on interior surfaces such as:
Drywall, Masonite, Wood, Cement, Metal
SUPPLIES NEEDED:
Dense foam roller designed to give a smooth finish
Paint tray
Painter’s tape
Stir stick
Sandpaper
PREP:
Lightly sand surface that is to be painted. Remove dust from sanding with a lint-free cloth. If applying Dry Erase on a new piece of drywall, masonite, cement or wood, use a white latex primer first (follow manufacturer’s directions).
PAINT:
Briefly stir each can before mixing. Pour part A into part B and stir thoroughly. Use a dense foam roller that is designed to give a smooth finish. For surfaces that are too small for a roller, use a foam brush.
IMPORTANT: Apply activated Dry Erase Paint within 2 hours of mixing.
Re-coat after 20-30 minutes. For best results, apply over a white or light colored surface with a minimum of 2 coats. When applying over darker colored surfaces, 3 coats are recommended. Dries to the touch in 1 hour. With two coats you can create up to a 7’ by 7’ dry erase surface!
See can labels for complete directions.
…AND ENJOY:
Allow the Dry Erase surface to cure for 2 DAYS before applying any markings (allow more time in cooler temperatures). Once fully cured, DRY ERASE markers may be applied to surface and them wiped off with an eraser or lint-free cloth.
