Electronic gas valve is more precise and durable than conventional mechanical gas valves.
Electronic gas control monitors operational status and helps pinpoint service/troubleshooting matters.
Gives visual indication when water heater is operating normally and reports diagnostic status.
The damper automatically opens prior to pilot ignition, under control of the intelligent micro-processor electronic gas valve. After the damper opens and the pilot sequence is complete, the burner ignites and exhaust gases exit the internal flue tube and out of the water heater. Once the heater satisfies and the burner/pilot shut off, the powered damper closes eliminating air flow through the flue tube to optimize heating efficiency.
Conveniently located on the side of the tank to facilitate piping to a drain or external to the building.
Reduces the risk of accidental fires involving flammable vapors from products such as gasoline, paint thinner, and solvents.
Reduces sediment buildup for heating efficiency and long tank life.
Protects tank against corrosion, maximizes tank life.
