M-D Building Products: Attic Armour Installation

  • Step 1

    Clean surface thoroughly before attaching adhesive backed fastener. Note: hook and loop come mated together.

  • Step 2

    Trim to length as necessary. Peel off backing from loo side (soft fuzzy side) and attach along perimeter approximately ¼ inch from the edge. Firmly rub strip to get a good bond. Do for all four sides.

  • Step 3

    Peel of remaining backing.

  • Step 4

    Attach the insulated cover (silver side towards item covering) to hook side (rough side) leaving an overhang on all four sides.

  • Step 5

    Firmly press cover to get a good bond.

  • Step 6

    Remove cover.

  • Step 7

    Trim excess cover material using fastener as the border.

  • Step 8

    Attached finished cover.
