M-D Building Products: Window Kits Benefits

  • View 1

    • Save Money:

The cost of heating your home may be rising, but there's something you can do. Window Kits help keep the warm air in, cold drafts out and your energy bill down. They are a low cost energy saving solution.

    • Prevents Heat Loss:

Window Kits provides an insulating barrier for comfort and fuel savings.

    • Inexpensive Solution:

Single-pane windows, which are found in nearly 50 percent of American homes, are energy-inefficient. Using Window Kits to improve the insulation of single-pane windows is an inexpensive solution to replacing single-pane windows.

    • Increases Insulation R-Value:

Improving the energy infrastructure of your home will reduce home heating and cooling costs and help reduce fossil fuel consumption. Insulation R-value is increased by 90% over a single pane window.

    • Easy to Install:

The plastic tightens up with the heat from a blow-dryer, making it tight and crystal clear. It will stay neatly in place all winter and prevent cold drafts and heat loss.
