IMPORTANT: These instructions offer an overview of the assembly process but are NOT complete assembly instructions. For the safety of your child and to prevent serious injury or death, the changing table MUST be assembled using the complete instruction manual shipped with the product.
STEP 1: See PICTURE 1. Attach the THREE CENTER SHELVES (A) to the LARGE SIDE FRAMES (B) using the TWELVE ¾” BOLTS (C) as shown. SHELF A1 goes in the top position (you will use the two small holes to attach the changing pad later).
Be sure the points on the shelves are all facing the same direction and the white sides are facing up. The large side frames are the same and either one can be put on either side as long as the center shelves are attached properly.
STEP 2: See PICTURE 2.
Attach ONE (D1) SIDE FRAME and ONE (D2) SIDE FRAME to ONE LARGE SIDE FRAME (B) using SIX 1” BOLTS (E). Then attach the TWO SIDE FRAMES (D1 and D2) to each other using THREE 1” BOLTS (E).
It doesn’t matter whether you do the right or left side first. However, you must use one D1 and one D2 on each side of the table. See PICTURE 2 for illustration of how to choose and line up the frames properly. The D1 frames have six holes drilled completely through. The D2 frames have three holes drilled completely through, and three holes on the edge of the frame with insert nuts embedded in the holes. On the right side of the table, D1 is in the rear and D2 is in the front. On the left side of the table, it is opposite.
STEP 3: See PICTURE 2.
Repeat STEP 2 to attach the remaining TWO SMALL SIDE FRAMES (D1 and D2) to the other LARGE SIDE FRAME (B), and then to each other, using the remaining NINE 1” BOLTS (E).
STEP 4: See PICTURES 3, 4, and 5. Take the SIX SIDE SHELVES (F) and put them into place on the sides of the table. The shelves rest on the cleats attached to the side frames. All six side shelves are identical and interchangeable.
Take the CHANGING PAD WITH SAFETY BELT (G) and place it on the top center shelf (A1). Line up the holes on the belt with the small holes on the top shelf and secure the pad in place using the TWO BOLTS WITH NUTS (H) (the nuts go on the underside of the shelf). Put the TERRY CLOTH CHANGING PAD COVER (I) onto the changing pad (G). There are holes in the terry cover to pull the safety belt through.
Check to make sure ALL of the BOLTS are tight.
