The X-frame and adjustable stand system assembles in minutes and is completely self-supporting.
The patented hub design is the heart of the X-frame assembly, making for easy setup and keeping the muslin flat.
The X-frame arrow tips fit snugly into the double-stitched, reinforced background panel corners.
The On-Site system's X-frame, stand and panel all fit into the included case. Case measures 8 x 8 x 36".
On-Site muslins are available in ten colors, either separately or as complete kits.
Start with one arrow rod and one straight rod. Connect the rods by inserting the square end of the straight rod into the silver connector on the arrow rod. While connecting the rods, ensure that both are placed with the rounded
side facing up. Repeat this step with remaining pairs of rods.
Place the four assembled rods on the floor with the label or rounded side
facing down. Next, position the round connector hub (label down) and insert each rod into the four slots found on the unit, forming an X.
Note: The arrow on the round connector hub should be pointing downward, so that when you lift the unit, it is pointing toward the floor.
Position your muslin fabric face-up over the X-frame and slide each corner of the fabric onto the arrow rods. The fabric will stretch and cover the span of the X-frame.
Lift the assembled X-frame off the floor and place it onto the stud of the adjustable stand. Secure it to the stand by tightening the thumbscrew on the round connector hub.
Adjust the stand to your desired height. The bottom corners of the fabric panel should rest on the floor to provide additional stability. The use of Calumet sandbags is recommended for ultimate stability.
The Calumet On-Site™ Portable Muslin Background System is now completely assembled.
