The Anka Convertible High Chair is designed to grow with your child from six months well into toddlerhood. It starts as a traditional high chair and functions safely without the tray to seat your child at the table. The safety guard can be removed, converting the high chair to a booster chair that can be used until your little one is five years old!
The Anka Convertible High Chair was designed around rigorous safety standards and is certified in the U.S. to meet the American Society for Test and Materials (ASTM) safety standards. These standards are developed by industry members, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, consumer groups and other interested parties. Look for the gold JPMA certification seal.
The 3-point safety harness is designed specifically to allow the ergonomic seating of your child without inhibiting their interaction with the family at the table or their ability to reach for food and activities.
Kids are messy, but the Anka Chair has fewer places for food to hide. Simply wipe the wood with a damp cloth. The removeable plastic tray cover is dishwasher safe. The Anka cushion can be washed off with a damp cloth or washed and dried in the delicate cycles.
Made from sustainable wood, the Anka Chair is stable, long lasting and kinder to the environment than many of the plastic alternatives currently available. Keeping children safe is our top priority so all finishes are lead-free and the plastic tray cover is phthalate and bisphenol-A free. The foam padding in the washable seat cushion is PBDE-free.
With adjustable seat depth, tray and footrest, the Anka Chair provides ergonomic support for your baby and adjusts and grows well into toddlerhood. The Anka Chair will provide your child with ergonomic support at every size.
The Anka Chair is ideal for smaller spaces. The tray stores on the back of the chair and the legs fold for convenient storage.
Every Anka Chair comes with a PBDE free cushion that can go right into your washer and dryer. Additional cushions can be purchased as well, ensuring that your Anka Chair will blend into your existing decor seamlessly.

Anka Chair Care and Cleaning Questions
Q. How do I clean my Anka Chair?

Q. How do I wash my Anka Chair Cushions? Can it be washed in the washing machine?
The Anka Cushion can be washed off with a damp cloth. It also can be machine washed and dried on the delicate cycle. It is recommended to place the cushion in a mesh bag to prevent the Velcro straps from picking other articles in the wash.
Q. How do I wash my Anka Chair plastic tray cover? Can it be washed in the dishwasher?
The Anka plastic tray cover can be easily wiped down, rinsed in the sink or even put in the dishwasher.
Q. I heard the Anka Chair is small and portable. Can it be carried in the car?
The Anka Chair is designed to be a solid piece of furniture in your home. However, its compact design allows it to be transported in the car. Simply fold the chair with its tray removed or attached to the back, and store with the back of the chair facing up in a regular car seat or trunk. If you do transport the chair this way, be sure to check and tighten the hardware before use to make sure nothing became loose in transit.
Q. Can the Anka Chair adjust to the height of my countertop bar?
The Anka Chair was designed to sit up to the height of an average table, typically 30 inches high. This allows the adult to sit in a regular chair to feed a young child and for the child to sit right up to the table with the family. The Anka Chair cannot be adjusted to sit up to a countertop or bar-height table.
Q. How much does the Anka Chair weigh?
The complete Anka High Chair, with tray and cushion, weighs 20 pounds.
Q. When is my child ready for solid food?
The American Medical Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that children start eating solid foods between the ages of 4-7 months. It is important that your child is seated upright to eat, not in a reclined position.
Q. How do I know if my child is ready to eat in the Anka High Chair?
The Anka High Chair is designed to provide upright support for children who are able to sit up on their own to eat. If your child is not able to sit upright unassisted, you may want to consider another option until they can sit upright, typically around 6 months of age.
