Controls:
Compares your pet’s location against your preset geofences to determine if he is where he is allowed to be.
This can be set from the Web based control Center or the device.
In Walk Mode, the DogTracs device stays connected to the network but does not process geo-fence alerts. This allows you to take your dog for walks or to the vet or other places outside of pre set geo-fences without creating an alert. If your dog runs away while the device is in Walk mode you can remotely issue commands that put the device into Monitor mode or issue Find my Dog commands to get location information and retrieve him quickly.
To create a convenience geofence when you are away from any internet access (campground, picnic area, along a beach or lake) Simply push a button on the device and create a convenience geofence with 150 foot radius around the device when the button is pushed. This way you can be almost anywhere and set up a safe zone for your dog and know that if he has wondered off, you can quickly retrieve him.
Choose how you receive information:
Setting up contacts that will be sent text messages and email alert information is easy on the web based control center. Here, you choose who receives and how they will receive alert information. These settings will also determine from where the system will accept remote command.
You may include:
Geofences that indicate safe zones for your dog are easily set up on the web based control center once they are set up and the device is put into monitor mode, your dogs location is checked continuously. If the system determines that your dog is not inside a geofence (safe zone like your yard etc.) then an alert is generated and all the contacts set up for your device are notified.
When a geofence alert episode is triggered location information is sent every 5 minutes to the contacts that are set up in Contact Management.
The information is also updated on the web based control center and viewable on a map.
These updates are provided until the alert has ended and you have recovered your dog.
You can get a current location sent to your contacts or viewable on the web based control center by issuing the Find My Dog Command. This command can be issued from any of your contacts or from the web based control center.
