      Projection   for windows is 1/2 the height of window.

      Width:   Add 6" to 24" to window width for space to connect arm braces. Make Width in increments of 1"

Americana Aluma Vue Installation

  • Step 1

    Locate points 'A' and 'B' for installing Wall Brackets on wall or casement. (Fig. 1) Locate above and outside window openings or on sash. Before screwing 'U' brackets ('C' & 'D') to wall, check available mounting area directly below to receive Return Arms ('E').

  • Step 2

    Attach Stringer to upper Wall Bracket with 1 - 1 1/2" Bolt w/ Nut per bracket. Attach Return Arm to lower Wall Bracket with 1 - 1 1/2" Bolt w/ Nut per bracket. Attach Valance Bracket to Stringer with 1 - 1 1/2" Bolt w/ Nut per bracket. Attach Return Arm Extension to Return Arm with 1 - 1 1/2" Bolt w/ Nut per bracket.

  • Step 3

    With Stringers hanging against the wall, guide panels ('H') in from one end by hooking the edge of panel over top lip of the stringer. Keeping the stringers in the vertical position, center the panels with equal over-lap in respect to the window. Start from top to bottom and snap each panel over the front edge of the stringer.

  • Step 4

    Attach Return Arms to 'U' Brackets ('C' and 'D') with cotter pins. Attach Return Arm Extension ('I') to return arm with cotter pin.

  • Step 5

    Attach Return Arm Extension to Stringer with 1 - 1 1/2" Bolt and Nut as shown.
